COURSE PREVIEW

Here's a glimpse into Dr. Sayida's Dismantling Implicit Bias, Strengthening Cultural Humility Course.

After watching the clip below, from the TV show "What Would You Do," Dr. Sayida starts to debrief with the participants in her Dismantling Implicit Bias, Strengthening Cultural Humility workshop. The video clip shows a social experiment conducted in a park in which 3 people (young white male, young black male, young white woman) try to steal a bike, out in the open. The reaction of the park onlookers is not surprisingly bias against the black young man.

Examining, acknowledging, dismantling real life bias, like those displayed in this video is part of Dr. Sayida's work.
